• Participating in ELAICH, your organization takes part in an international project developed by the Technion– Israel Institute of Technology joined by four distinguished partner universities: University of Antwerp, Ca' Foscari University of Venice, National Technical University of Athens, and The University of Malta.

• Your students enjoy a project experienced by young adults and their teachers in other countries: Egypt, Greece, Israel, Italy, Jordan, Malta, and Turkey.

• Your students learn about cultural heritage through a unique combination of teaching methods including traditional and interactive lectures, fun and sophisticated distance learning technologies, lab exercises, and on-site experience.

• As an interdisciplinary field, which covers various sciences (architecture, chemical engineering,
materials engineering, history, geography, environment, and more) and involves culture and values, Conservation of Cultural Heritage can be included within different curricula. Thus, taking ELAICH may provide you with a unit in history, civics, or science, according to your curriculum’s needs. Concurrently, it may provide your students with an introduction to and experience in the interdisciplinary aspects of modern technology and science.

• Finally, teachers are provided with teacher guides for each of the lessons and are supported by a network of other participating teachers and supervising scientists.
